Women's T20 World Cup 2024

The Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 is underway, with India set to begin their campaign in Group A. Led by captain Harmanpreet Kaur and vice-captain Smriti Mandhana, India faces tough competition from Australia, New Zealand, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka. The tournament is being held in the UAE, with India playing their opening game against New Zealand on October 4.

After a strong showing in previous editions, India aims to go one step further this time and lift the trophy. Australia, the defending champions, are once again the team to beat, but India’s squad, including standout players like Shafali Verma and Deepti Sharma, could make a deep run.
